Bilu Huang is a cross-disciplinary scientist tackling some of humanity’s biggest questions: Why do we age? What killed the dinosaurs? Can we cool the planet? Will we run out of energy?

He proposed a new aging theory Telomere DNA and Ribosomal DNA Co-regulation Model for Cell Senescence (TRCS). He also explores geoengineering to remove carbon and nuclear fusion for limitless clean power, aiming to benefit all.

Telomere DNA and ribosomal DNA co-regulation model for cell senescence (TRCS)

Through rigorous logical reasoning, Bilu Huang proposed the Telomere DNA and ribosomal DNA co-regulation model for cell senescence in 2021.

TRCS model is preliminarily experimentally validated → 45s rDNA partially KO leads to significant increase in P53, P16, P21 and sa-β-gal and significant decrease in cell passages in human and mice primary cells (2024, preprint).
